Our Mission
To honor the life's mission of Angela H. Llewellyn, we seek to empower the next generation of artists and cultural caretakers by providing scholarships to students pursuing college degrees in the arts or library sciences. We are committed to assisting with financial barriers and fostering creative talent, ensuring that passionate individuals can thrive, innovate, and contribute to the cultural richness of our community.
Angela H. Llewellyn was a local theater artist, children’s librarian, lover of all things pop culture, teacher, and friend. She passed away in 2023 and is a dearly missed part of our community. This scholarship will continue her legacy through future artists. One of her favorite quotes was from the Marvel movie series: "I love you, 3000." This scholarship award is in honor of that sentiment.

Scholarship Application
It is the Foundation’s intent to provide a single scholarship for $3,000.00 to a graduating senior this academic year. The student must be pursuing a degree in the performing arts, music, dance, visual arts, design, writing, or library sciences to qualify for the scholarship.
This scholarship is currently available to seniors graduating in 2025 at these schools:
North Surry
Surry Central
East Surry
